It’s hard to learn piano without the guidance of an instructor.

I can help you to correct the mistakes
and give you a personal suggestion for which pieces/exercises to play.

If you have questions during your session, you can ask them directly.

FEEDBACK SERVICE

If for any reason (unstable internet connection or being afraid that ‘you are not technical enough’), video calling isn’t right for you, you can send me a video or audio recording of yourself playing piano or just ask questions. I will respond with feedback in either a written, video recording, or audio recording format.

Either way, you make sure that you’re playing the correct way
and all your questions are answered.
Why should you consider online piano lessons?

  • NO TRAVEL TIME.  You don't have to travel to your teacher’s studio and can avoid traffic jams. This saves you money and time.

  • You can RECORD YOUR LESSONS. You can go back and watch it again, and pick up all those tips you may have forgotten.

  • WARMING UP. You can warm up at the piano before your lesson and PLAY YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT. â€‹You can also practice immediately after the lesson when ideas are fresh and when energy levels are still high. â€‹

  • LESS LIKELY TO CANCEL. If you or your teacher are ill and may be carrying something contagious, you can still have your class, if you’re feeling okay. You don’t have to worry about infecting your teacher, or vice versa!

  • TAKE LESSONS ANYWHERE. All you need is an Internet-connected device and piano keyboard. If you want to continue your lessons while on vacation, you can!

Instead of providing generic piano tutorials,
I listen to your playing, identify your needs,
and show you how to progress.

Are online lessons right for me?

Thanks to technology today, you can learn to play piano online in the comfort of your home.
You may be a little hesitant about starting at first, but piano online lessons are as effective as taking lessons in person. You can still see great results and have a fantastic lesson without leaving your house.
In the end, the only way you will know which type of lesson is right for you is to give it a try.

What You Need, to Learn Piano Online

  • You need a computer/laptop/tablet or smartphone with camera, speakers and microphone. Place the camera to the side of the piano, so I can see you playing the piano clearly, to make sure you are using correct fingering and posture. â€‹

  • There are different platforms and apps for online teaching. Zoom, Hangout, Skype, WhatsApp or even Facebook Messenger. You will need to either download the app or create an account.

  • You need a good internet connection

  • I will need your e-mail address or number as I send music and recordings through email/WhatsApp

  • It’s good to have a working printer or a separate device for sheet music, but not essential.

Technical Difficulties?

Sometimes there are delays or freezes which can be easily fixed by restarting the call. It is good to close all other programs running on your computer, as this will make it run faster.
